Lonnie Bailey


Lonnie Bailey drives the #25 Late Model Class car.  His home track is Quincy Raceways but he can also be found racing at 34 Raceway.  He lives in Quincy, IL.

Team members helping Lonnie are:  Matt Bailey, Josh Bailey, Steve Rush, Paul Anderson, Steve Nelson, Zach Bruenger and Tony Rhinberger.  Lonnie and Paula Bailey are the car owners.

Lonnie started racing in 1979 in the Bomber Class at Quincy Raceways because it looked like fun.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include Track Championships at Quincy Raceways, 34 Raceway and Lee County Speedway. 

The thrill of racing for Lonnie is the rush he gets when the green flag drops.  His most exciting racing moments have been all of his IMCA Deery Bros. wins.  He's most proud of his Championships. 

Lonnie's racing hero is Fireball Roberts.
