 Derick Grigsby

Derick Grigsby drives the #69 Limited Modified Class car.  His home track is Boothill Speedway but he can also be found racing at Ark-La-Tex Speedway.  He lives in Marshall, TX.

Team members helping Derick are:  Don Fleming, Dad-Wes Grigsby, Uncle Kenny Grigsby, Dustin Cole, Fiance Erica Smith, Son - Ty Grigsby, Jason Ingalls, and other family members and friends.

Derick started racing in 2005 in the Limited Modified Class at Boothill Speedway because his family has always raced and he always loved it.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include numerous wins and Track Championships in Hot Stock Class, '10 Louisiana State Dirt Track Champion in Factory Stock and Limited Modified Ark-La-Tex Speedway Champion in Pro Mod and Limited Mod '12 Boothill Track Champion and 19 Feature wins in '12 season.

The thrill of racing for Derick is being on the edge and out of control and fast at the same time.  His most exciting racing moment would be to win Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track Championship, of which he has not yet accomplished.  He's most proud of running 8th in the Points with USMTS first half of '09 with just himself and Erica.

Derick's racing hero is his Dad, Wes Grigsby.

Of racing, Derick says, "Fun family sport that can be enjoyed by fans of all ages!".
