 Jeff Honea

Jeff Honea drives the #69J Limited Mod Class car.  His home track is Super Bowl Speedway but he can also be found racing at Lonestar Speedway.

Team members helping Jeff are: Dad, Buck; his brother, Robert; and Billy Kirk

Jeff started racing in 1986 in an Econo Stock at Cowtown Speedway because he was raised watching his Dad race.  His first win was in '87 in the Street Stock Class at Super Bowl Speedway.  Career highlights include: racing Late Models for eight years in Ohio, buying his own race track and his wife's greatest highlight was the day he sold the race track.

Jeff says the thrill of the race for him is the speed and being sideways side by side without the cars actually touching. His most exciting moment in racing was his first win. He's most proud of all of it.

Jeff's racing heroes include his Dad, Bo Rowden, and Doug Wolf Gang.

Of racing, Jeff says, " If you ever go once, it is in your blood forever."
