Jeff Whitehead drives the #36 Factory
Stock Class Car at Lonestar Speedway. He lives in Texarkana, TX.
People helping Jeff include Terry Wells,
Mike Wells, and Cowboy Mewborn. Michael Lynch is the car owner.
Jeff started racing in '91 in a Factory
Stock Class Car at Stateline Speedway because a buddy talked him into it
and his family races.
Jeff's first win was in '91 in the
Factory Stock Class at Stateline. His career highlights include:
'93, '94, and '99 Stateline Speedway Track Champion; '02 Arkansas Super
Speedway Champion; '04 Texarkana Speedway Champion; '11 Texarkana
Speedway Champion; and the '11 Louisiana State Champion at Boothill
For Jeff, the thrill of racing is just
being around all the other racers. His most exciting racing moment
was winning the Louisiana State Champion Race in 2011 and watching his
son, Justin Whitehead, win the 1st Annual Cajun Cruiser Classic.
Jeff is most proud that his son followed
behind him in his racing career.
Jeff's racing hero is Cowboy Mewborn.
Of racing, Jeff says he would like "all
the fans to support their local tracks."
