Chris Powers


Chris Powers drives the #4 Super Street Class car.  His home track is Carolina Speedway.  He lives in Dillon, SC.  People who help Chris are:  Roger Gaddy, Earl Dubois, Malcolm Willoughby, Mickie Buller, Mike Buller.

He started racing in 2002 in the Rookie Class at Carolina Speedway because his Daddy was racing and Chris loved it.  His first win was in 2004 in the Rookie Class at Carolina Speedway.  Career highlights were winning his first race.

Cris was 5th in 2003 in rookie standings and Won the Rookie track championship in 2005

The thrill of racing for Chris is being able to drive fast and win races.  His most exciting racing moment was leading every lap of the 2nd race he won.  He's most proud of winning races.

Chris's racing hero is Roger Gaddy.

Of racing, Chris says, "It is a lot of fun, but it takes a lot of time and money to be good at it!  We don't do it for the money!".
