Friday Night Race Card Set at AMS

Anderson, SC – Last Friday’s season opening event saw some fresh faces and return champions in Victory Lane at Anderson Motor Speedway.  For the fans who braved the chilly temperatures, the evening provided “edge of your seat” entertainment.  Both the B Mini Stock and Renegade features were highly competitive with a prior champion, Mark Timmerman, capturing the B Mini main and a newcomer, Chris Ingle, taking the checkers in the Renegades feature.

Seven divisions of stock car racing once again highlight the race card this Friday night at Anderson Motor Speedway.  Competition will include the following classes:  B Mini Stock, C Mini Stock, BM Modified, Legends, Renegades, Super Renegades and Young Guns divisions. Gates will open at 5PM and racing will begin at 8PM.  Grandstand adult admission is $10 and kids under 12 are admitted FREE.

Anderson Motor Speedway Jr. Fan Club kids will enjoy the Bi-Lo Birthday Bash celebrating member birthdays in the months of Jan-March!  Birthday cake will be provided by Bi-Lo of Seneca and face-painting for kids 12 and under.  Also, two lucky kids will win a family pack of tickets to the upcoming Hejaz Shrine Circus.
