Roger started racing in 1985 in the
Super Street Stock Class at Virginia Motor Speedway (Go Karts in 1975)
because his Dad built Hanover Kart Track, Wow Capital City Speedway,
Raced Go Karts then his Dad moved to Stock Cars and Roger followed.
His first win was in 1987 in the Super Street Stock Class at Virginia
Motor Speedway. Career highlights include his first win in Go
Karts in '76 and over 200 wins in Go Karts, 6 Track Championships and a
double in '04 in Sportsman and Modified, won 24 out of 26 races in '96,
won 138 Feature races in race cars.
The thrill of racing for Roger is
running good and winning and the thrill of being on the edge. His
most exciting racing moment was his first win where he was running
3rd and the first two drivers wrecked. Her Dad, Gene Jamerson was
on his bumper the rest of the race. He's most proud of being a
contender to win every week.
Roger's racing hero is his Dad who is a
7 time Champion!

hobby. It takes some money but the benefits outweigh the
