Ryan started racing in 2007 in the Charger Class at Virginia Motor Speedway because he had watched racing for years and was given the chance. Career highlights include 2007 VMS Charger Rookie of the Year and 2007 8th in points at VMS.

The thrill of racing for Ryan is racing side by side with the top competitors that he has watched for many years. His most exciting moment was leading laps in every race during his first year. He is most proud of his 2007 Rookie of the Year award.

Ryan's racing hero is his late grandfather who took him to his first race in 1993.
