Michael Kaufhold drives the #15 I Stock Class car.  His home track is 281 Speedway.  He lives in Springtown, TX.

Michael started racing in 2005 in the Mini Stock Class at 281 Speedway for something exciting to do.  His first win was in '96 in the Mini Stock Class at 281 Speedway.  Career highlights include 3 Mini Stock wins (1 in a car that started in the rear and he'd never driven before), 1st I-Stock win in '08.

The thrill of racing for Michael is the adrenaline rush.  His most exciting racing moment was his first I-Stock Feature win.  He's most proud of being a front runner, not the guy in the rear.

Michael's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Jr.
