Steve Davis drives the #71 Limited Late Model Class car. His home track is Lancaster Speedway, but can be found racing at Carolina Speedway, Cherokee Super Speedway, and Chester Motor Speedway. He lives in Monroe, NC.

Team members helping Steve are Mike "Bully" Wyles, Jeff and Stephanie Sharpe. Steve Davis is the car owner.

Steve started racing in 1979 in the Hobby Class at Lancaster speedway because he always liked racing and dreamed about it since he was a kid. His first win was in 1981 in the 6-Cycle Class at Chester Speedway. Career highlights include track championships at Metrolina Speedway, Lancaster Motor Speedway and Chester Motor Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Steve is the speed. His most exciting moment was beating Jeff and Dennis Knight at Metrolina Speedway. He is most proud of winning Sportsman of the Year two times.

Steve's racing hero is Doug Aldridge.
