Matt Lambert drives the #21L Stock 4 Class car.  His home track is Lancaster Speedway but he can also be found racing at Carolina Speedway.  He lives in Monroe, NC.

Team members helping Matt are:  Brian - Dad, LouAnn - Mom, Larissa, Cory.  The family owns the car.

Matt started racing in 2008 in the Stock 4 class at Lancaster Speedway because of a true passion for racing.  He can't think of anything besides his family, that makes him happier and the simple fact that it's all he knows.  Career highlights include finishing 4th at Carolina Speedway in his first race.  With 13 cars starting, 9 finished.  Best $60 he's ever earned.

The thrill of racing for Matt is the smell, noise, rumble of motors and the speed!  His most exciting racing moment was worrying about the car and the track, wondering if it has what it takes to run at this track against these cars then from the seat you see yourself passing them.  But then he botched turn 1 and had to start over and loved it!  He's most proud of his brother and his Dad.  They have grown so much with this sport.  His entire family is supportive of one another.  He can truly say without it, there's no telling where they would be.  He loves his family for understanding that it's more than just racing, it's an addiction.

Matt's racing heroes are Robert Mullins, his Dad and Mac Almert.

Of racing, Matt says, "I couldn't even begin to tell someone.  Come watch with an open mind. You'll be blown away, I promise.  Plus, it's a hell of a lot more exciting than basketball!".
