Danny Minnehan drives the #82 Thunder & Lightning Class car.  His home track is Florence Motor Speedway but he can also be found racing at Myrtle Beach Speedway.  He lives in Hartsville, SC.

Danny started racing the Thunder & Lightning Class because he loves to turn left and go fast.  His first win in 1999 in a Charger at Florence. He was the 1999 Florence Motor Speedway Track Champion, the True Value Mechanic Of The Year and the 2004 Track Champion.

The thrill of racing for Danny is winning!  His most exciting racing moment was when he had to put out a hot head racer with a fire extinguisher.  He's proud of being the True Value Mechanic of the Year in 1999.

Danny's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.
