Ernie races out of Timmonsville SC. His home track is Florence Motor Speedway.  Ernie began racing in 1999 at Darlington Dragway, for fun and $$$.  He got his first win in the foot brake class at Darlington Dragway.

Ernie has been the Darlington Dragway Champion 5 times.

In 2004 Ernie won the Florence Motorspeedway Charger Championship.

Winning is the thrill of racing for Ernie. Winning the championship his greatest racing thrill.
