Robert "Trey" Malphus

Trey Malphus drives the #38 Road Warrior Class car.  His home track is Florence Motor Speedway.  He lives in Hartsville, SC.

Team members who help Trey are:  Charles Malphus (car owner), Gene   Hunter, Timmy Morris, Rodney Morris, Paul Morris, Cody Woods.

Trey started racing in 2005 in the Road Warriors Class at Florence Motor Speedway as a result of helping build another race car and because of Dale Earnhardt.  His first win was in '06 in the Road Warrior Class at Florence Motor Speedway. Career highlights include finishing 5th in the points in 2005 and had a 3rd place in the Feature. his first win and finishing in 2nd place in the Points for Road Warriors in '06, winning 6 races by mid season in '07!

The thrill of racing for Trey is the thought of not knowing what is going to happen next.  His most exciting racing moment was on 6/21/07 when he won the race and had a T&L driver push him faster than he's ever been around the track.    He's most proud of finishing in 2nd place in the Points Championship in '06.

Trey's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.
