Dustin started racing in 1989 in the Pewee Mini Motocross Class at Kingsville Challenge Tracks because he was born with it.  His first win was in 1989 in the Pewee Mini Motocross Class at Columbia, MO.  Career highlights include 1995 National Champion Jr. 1 2 Cycle Kart, 1997 Missouri Dirt Series and Missouri Kart Series Champion Jr 2 4 Cycle, 2002 5th place in Midwest Sprint Car Series.

Of racing, Dustin says, "If you watch one good short track race, you will know why I love it!  Remember the Big Mo (momentum)!".
