Heidi Hames drives the #15 Hornet Class car.  Her home track is Macon Speedway but she can also be found racing at Lincoln Speedway and Fairbury Speedway.  She lives in Decatur, IL.

Team members helping Heidi are:  Buddy, Mike, R. J.  Decatur Used Cars is the car owner.

Heidi started racing in 2008 in the Hornet Class at Macon Speedway because she's been watching for 32+ years and wanted to try it!  Her first win was in that same year.  Career highlights include her first win was her first night out!

The thrill of racing for Heidi is the rush.  Her most exciting racing moment was her first win her first night out!  She's most proud of learning from her mistakes every week.

Heidi's racing hero is Joe Ross Jr.

Of racing, Heidi says, "As nervous as you get sitting in line, when you pull out on the track, it all goes away!".
