Jena Barthelmes drives the #48J Flyer class car.  Her home track is Farley Speedway but she can also be found racing at West Liberty Speedway.  She lives in Central City, IA.

She started racing in 2003 in the Flyers Class at Farley Speedway because her Dad didn't have any boys!  Her first win was in 2003.  Career highlights include 4 Feature wins in 2004. 

The thrill of racing for Jena is beating the boys.  Her most exciting racing moment was having another driver pass her up on the wall and ride the wall on 2 tires the whole front stretch.  She's most proud of making her Dad proud of her.

Jena's racing hero is Jimmie Johnson.

Of racing, Jena says, "Racing is not just for boys anymore.  You have to have fun or keep your car at home!".
