Martin Belcher drives the #3 Dash Class
truck. His home track is Salem Speedway but he can also be found
racing at Sportsdrome Speedway. He lives in Hodgenville, KY.
Team members helping Martin are:
Dave Kulmer, Jason Belden, Theresa & Marty Belcher.
Martin started racing in 2003 in the
Late Model Class at Kentucky Motor Speedway because his family races.
His first win was in '03 in the Late Model Class at Kentucky Motor
Speedway. Career highlights include 4 wins at Kentucky Motor
The thrill of racing for Martin is the
speed and running the cars down in front of him and passing them.
His most exciting racing moment was winning a race with a motor that was
blowing up from the beginning of the race and by the end it was smoking
really bad and ended up having 3 pistons with holes in them. He's
most proud of doing better than what other people think he can do.
When people don't think he can do something he tries his best to do it
and prove them wrong!
Martin's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
Of racing, Martin says, "It's not
nowhere as easy as you think it is!".
