Wesley Gordon

#23 3/4

Wesley Gordon drives the #23 3/4 600cc Open Sprint Class car.  His home track is Vermilion County Speedway but he can also be found racing at Gas City I-69 Speedway, US 24 Speedway and Clarksville Speedway.  He lives in Jonesboro, IN.

Team members helping Wesley are:  Grandpa, Brad Ingram - Crew Chief, Brian Rilby - Crew, Troy Hollingsworth - Car & Engine Builder, Amy Nestlerode, Chris Haley - Crew.  Myron Harner - Grandpa, is the car owner.

Wesley started racing in 1995 in the Jr. Honda Class at Kokomo Speedway because his Dad wanted him to race motorcycles.  Grandpa settled with 4 wheels in Quarter Midgets.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include many Track Championships at Kokomo Speedway, 2 Track Championships in 2 Classes in the same year, breaking Track Records at tracks that he'd never been to previously.

The thrill of racing for Wesley is the competition.  His most exciting racing moment was at Gasoline Alley Nationals G Main to 3rd in the A Main.  He's most proud of this accomplishment as he had to win B-C-E-G Mains to transfer to A Main.

Wesley's racing heroes are Jeff Gordon and Rusty Wallace.
