Dereck Ramirez drives the #42 Modified Class car.  He races with the USMTS schedule.  He lives in Woodward, OK.

Dereck started racing in 2003 in the Modified Class at Enid Speedway Park because it was something he'd always wanted to do.  Career highlights include finishing 5th in USMTS National Points, winning his first Feature at Enid Speedway Park.

The thrill of racing for Dereck is the high speeds and being able to travel the country and race.  His most exciting racing moment was finishing 5th in the USMTS National Points.  He's most proud of being able to compete with all the drivers of USMTS.
