Rick Poteet drives the #61 TWMA Class car.  His home track is Heart O Texas Speedway but he can also be found racing at 281 Speedway, Cowtown Speedway and Kennedale Speedway Park.  He lives in Hillsboro, TX.

Team members helping Rick are:  Melanie Poteet, Mariah Poteet, Trevor Crist. 

Rick started racing in 1987 in the Limited Modified Class at Thunderbird Speedway as a hobby.  His first win was in '89 in the Street Stock Class at Thunderbird Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Rick is being out with all his friends.  He's most proud that his family is able to come help and watch.

Rick's racing hero is May Thomas.
